Materials And Build Process:This was the first time I worked with proper craft foam where I worked simultaneously along side this cosplay and my own Rin Okumura cosplay (see main cosplay page) in a workshop all day.
The base layer is just a white t-shirt. Underneath this layer, is a foam panel with fairy lights glue unto the t-shirt's inner-front side. For the arms, we used a black long-sleeved shirt's sleeves, cut off, as the base layer. This allowed Callum to slip on the arms separately, then secure them in place with safety pins where the sleeves and the t-shirt meet. Foam layers of multiple thickness and shapes were then layered on top, creating the design. On each arm, we ran fairy lights along the edges and up to the front shoulder joint section, storing the battery pack (that had a power switch) tucked just under the shoulder panels. Finally, for the hands, we used gloves as the base layer, covering it with glue on foam sections. We then ran the fairy lights from the centre palm repulsor to the knuckles, finally tucking the power pack underneath the panel on the back of the palm.
