A port of the original BASIC Haunted House into modern-day C++.
​Use text to move around and collect all 17 items before returning to the start!

Made by solely myself, here I bring you a simple game made within my LLP unit at university. The aim is 17 items in your pocket. The method, typing words into the program to advance your way through the story. Each room you enter has it's own description, sometimes items, and also many secrets!

I upgraded the original game's text entering system, now allowing for backspaces. Other than, that the game plays just like the original! Use magic spells and ghost vacuums to solve your way through the mansion, and if you find some rope on the way, remember, there's no time to play with the rope.

Controls

• Use a keyboard for entering text
• 'Backspace' for deleting entered characters
• 'Enter' for submitting text
• 'Esc' to exit the game
